is PILOT?
PILOT™ is a national education initiative designed to provide physicians
with a comprehensive continuing medical education program that focuses
on the early and accurate diagnosis of idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis
(IPF) while addressing educational objectives critical to optimizing
disease intervention and management.
PILOT™ 2008 Overall Objectives
- Adopt into clinical practice a multidisciplinary approach to
the diagnosis of patients with IPF
- Critically evaluate the prognostic indicators used in clinical
practice
- Identify and apply practical disease management strategies for
patients with IPF to optimize outcomes
