UIP in chronic nitrofurantoin toxicity: At higher magnification, advanced remodeling of the parenchyma is evident, with little visible preserved lung (upper right corner of image). Note the “fibroblast foci” (FF), characteristic (but not diagnostic) features of the UIP pattern.
